Superior
Tent Opens July 2004
 Hi
everyone,
A quick note to bring you all up to date with
what’s happening at Chiawa Camp. The season is looking
to be fantastic and we have had some wonderful game viewing already.
And now we
are pleased to announce the opening of our new Superior Safari Tent. We
believe this sets a new standard for Zambia in bush-luxury; however it still
retains the rustic and unpretentious feel that Chiawa is so well loved for.
The tent is massive, with huge windows and a curved timber
deck. And furnished with a king sized bed, a fantastic bathroom with his &
hers washbasins, shower, and ball & claw bath, all with great views of the
Zambezi.
However its
piece de resistance is an outdoor tree-shower; a shower set up in a mahogany
tree overlooking the Zambezi and the dry river bed.
It is
our belief that the tree-shower will
qualify for the most unique shower in the bush and almost certainly for the
best view. As for the rest of the bathroom, and the tent itself; certainly
the best – the photos speak for themselves.
Chiawa’s
new Superior Safari Tent is available with immediate effect and will
complement the already luxurious 8 other Safari Tents.
 Chiawa
Camp remains a 16 bed camp but we now have the option to offer more options
to single travellers, options to upgrade, and for visiting guides and pilots
to have more comfy accommodation than we have offered them in the past.
Should any guests with existing bookings wish to upgrade from our existing
Luxury Safari Tents, please let us know.
It will
be the ideal retreat for Honeymoon couples, for those celebrating special
occasions, or for those who simply want to experience Zambia’s
finest tented safari accommodation!
Takes
romance and bush comfort to new levels in Zambia, extra-spacious, a
king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton linens, Molton
Brown bath & shower products, in-door and out-door showers, his & hers wash
basins, and an old fashioned bath.
