Chichele Presidential Lodge holds the South Luangwa’s prime vantage point, with 360 degree views, and is in a stunning wildlife location with rivers, streams, floodplains and forests at its feet.
This historic retreat was originally built as a holiday home for Zambia’s founding President, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, and to host visiting dignitaries but is now owned by Chichele Safaris and operated by Chiawa Safaris, owners of Chiawa Camp and Old Mondoro.
Chichele Presidential has been reimagined and rebuilt to the of highest standards and into what is one of Africa’s most luxurious safari lodges. Its sense of location and history are incredible and is a unique offering to Zambia, providing a sanctuary to those guests who want a more contemporary and luxurious safari lodge but with a serious safari pedigree.
